Cogs

Good Morning All!!!  I did this mani  about a week ago and was very pleased with it, I will do it again!  After a clear base coat, I did one good coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black.  Then I used ip BM03.  I decided to use all China Glaze for my stamping, as follows: For Audrey, Pelican Grey, and Platinum Silver.  I think that it turned out pretty cool. :)  Thank you for stopping in and taking a look.  Also thank you to those that have given me the honor of your following me, I really appreciate it.  And the comments....thank you, it is so nice to see that someone will take the time to tell what they think.  Have a good day!!

Peppermints

I had a chance to use my new Red Angel stamping plates, and I really like them!  The images seem to be more deeply etched and pick up the polish very easily.  I decided to do my first Christmas Mani.

I used Essie No Chips Ahead as my clear base coat, then 2 good coats of Orly Star Spangled, which i absolutely am in love with. It went on very smoothly, although it had a long drying time.  Then I stamped the swirly pattern on the RA110 ip using Konad special polish white.  Then ended with a coat of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener and a coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.  I did not want to chance this one chipping, I think it is very pretty.!!!!

This is the Orly Star Spangled by itself, pretty  isn't it?

And now stamped...when my granddaughter saw them she said "they look like peppermints", hence the name of this post!  Hope you all like them, as always, comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for stopping in  :)

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Wow...it has been such a crazy, but good crazy, weekend!  Things are starting to get back to the ole grind :(  I received my new Red Angel stamping plates yesterday...and I love them.  Alot of different designs.  I have used them on my nails today...but no photos yet, will post those later today. You can purchase the plates at Amazon .com for $11.99 plus shipping....http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005VX8S4G/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details

But for now , here is a mani that I did on my daughter, Lauren. She chose her colors and stamping image. Clear base coat,  2 coats of China Glaze Pelican Grey. Then I did a sponge gradient using China Glaze For Audrey, and White on White. She chose to use ip M72, the kinda "shatter" looking one.  And then we ended with a coat of SV.  She loved it!!!

See you later today with my first Christmas Mani!!!

Poptarts!

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend!  This is my granddaughter  Teghan, she  was my hand model this weekend.!  She picked out her colors and her ip's.

She chose the colors China Glaze "For Audrey", and Orly "Total Darkness", with image plates bm20 and b87.

After things were all done and cleaned up, she said "Mema, they look like my poptarts!" And low and behold...they do!!!

What do you think?!  Have a wonderful day, and as always, many thanks for stopping in and all comments are welcome.

Purple!!!

Sorry that I have been MIA, but I went to a wedding....Edward and Bella...the movie was awesome!!!  So now back to reality :(   I decided to try my first gradient mani.  It is now one of my favorites!  I used a clear base coat, and then  China Glaze Grape Juice, which is kinda shimmery.  Then I sponged Sally Hansen Xtreme  Wear  Twisted Pink  from the tip of my nail down about 2/3rds with a cosmetic sponge that I had cut to have a pointed edge.  For the bottom 1/3 I used China Glaze Go Go Pink.  Finally I stamped with Konad m67 and  m78 and ended with SV top coat.  Please forgive the dry skin and cuticles, they are still angry with me.  Thanks for stopping in, feel free to leave me any comments...I would appreciate it.  And you can be a follower also, whenever I can get to 100, I will do a giveaway!!

Black and Silver

I couldn't decide what to do today, so I went with one of my favorite IP, M63.  Please ignore the cuticles...they are very angry with me right now :(.  I used a base coat, then 2 coats of Wet n Wild Craze shade Noctournal.  It looks black, but it is really a very deep blue. China Glaze Platinum Silver was used for stamping with IP  M63. Then I topped it off with Sech Vite.  A word of warning, unless you are perfect at painting, you will get it on your cuticles! Dark shades  are the worst , so I got out my trusty corrector pen. Mine just happens to be from Konad, but you can get them most any where.  Thank you for stopping in, and please don't forget to leave any suggestions or comments!!

My First Fall Mani

  •

Well, this is my first attempt at a "Fall" mani, not too sure how I like it, but practice will make perfect...right?!!
It seems like I used alot of different polishes to achieve this look, will have to try to pare this down next time. Sorry about the sloppy cleanup, I was trying to get this posted tonight.  Thank you for taking a look, I would appreciate any input, and very grateful for constructive criticism. Have a great saturday night.

My first post!!!

I am new at this, and kinda nervous!!! Decided that I had to bite the dust and go ahead and get over my fear  :)  I am just learning how to use the stamping system, and I love it ! Here is one of my first attempts.  I used Essie for my base coat, and then 2 coats of  China Glaze Trendsetter. I found it on the clearance rack at Sally's for only $1.99.  I wasn't sure if I  liked it, but after it was on I  Loved it!  I decided to stamp it with m73  with Konad Black Special Polish, and add a black french tip.  I am happy, watch think???!!!
